much of any shift problem on the SP is the riding position in my case. Being over 6 foot tall even with standard footrests my toes are allready well angled upwards and with chunky rididg boots it doesn't leave you much leverage for up shifting and so anything less than a positive push will give a false neutral in certain gears in my case. This was even more pronounced with the power commander quick shifter so i removed this as not necessary on the road (but bloody good fun )
If this gizmo does what it says then potentially it could be £150 well spent, especially for vmax

I've been known to miss the odd gear every now and again You'll have to let me know how you get on with it and if it makes that much of a difference.

got the headers back from Camcoat yesterday. Ceramic coated ine "ice grey" up to 1000C protection and reduces the exhaust surface temp by 200-300C so hopefully protect that rear shock from heat.

Steve you'll have to do a report on how it stands up to real life living. I'd be very interested in getting mine done as long as I don't have to avoid puddles and keep it in a living room.
It's one of the few let downs on the bike in my opinion.

Are there any negatives to ceramic coating ???? I would like to do it also for the same benefits of cosmetic appearance and reduced rear shock temperature but seem to remember reading something that put me off but can't remember what it is.

not aware of any downsides other than it costs money I had my other set of headers wrapped for two years and was shocked at the level of corrosion when i removed it! Il see how this coating goes and i know its not as effective at temperature reduction and was told not to wrap on top.

Cheers for the info Steve maybe it was wrapping I read bad press about for corrision as you say.
