Took delivery of the second hand front cylinder head today and it is a front one YIPEE! and looks in fair condition so to complete the rebuild i have just bought an inlet cam for the front pot (Germany again) so assuming nothing catastrophic on the bores and gear box i have all the bits for the old engine. I fact if im really brave i can now copy the porting and flowing from the two old tuned heads and save some cash to get the cams re profiled.
Ive just sent my spare headers off to Camcoat to have them ceramic coated in Grey Ice :ugeek:

toss up between that and Turbox black but the grey is glossier ;)

just the headers they want £160 + vat. Not cheap but better than wrap which rots even stainless!

Afraid not Lyndon :( just way to busy with selling one house, tarting up the other to sell and looking after the nipper. It doesnt help not having the bike to hand so cant do the odd hour here and there. Really cant se it being this year, good job we got some miles in during the nice weather lol though i think that was the final straw!

Im sure someone else posted on here that they are waiting for a smoother shift gizmo from the States, and ive bitten the bullet today and ordered one of these.

Thinking of treating this new engine with kid gloves eventually and may even re fit the quick shifter if the false neutrals are eliminated.
