Sp1 to sp2 swingarm conversion documented!

Postby N11 EXPRESS » Mon Dec 07, 2020 10:53 pm

So recently I put up a wanted post on here looking for a sp2 swingarm as I was having difficulty sourcing one as I wanted to fit a RP tuning hrc style exhaust.
So thanks to pirks on here he quickly responded offering a swingarm he had and offered it to me for free which I could not believe so thanks again mate only for you I wouldn’t have bothered going ahead with the conversion. Needles to say I gave him the price of a few pints for his extremely kind offer.
I promised him I would document the conversion for him so I got my friend to do the work for me who also runs a blog site so he has done all the work for me including the write up so see link below

Ace write up and loved the comments at the end "you smooth talkin bastard" had me in stitches.

So are you happy with it? Was it worth it? Would you do it again?

Oh yes it was defo worth it just for the exhaust alone nevermind the better looks and better handling sp2 swingarm .
Once I’m finished doing everything I’ll post better pics of the bike and exhaust

Fantastic work and explained clearly and concisely.

The exhaust and welding looks superb also.

Cheers
