2003 SP-2 in white, 13.5k miles, full Honda service history, 12 months tax & MOT, totally standard and original. Fitted (professionally) with a Datatool System 3, both alarm blippers, both keys and I have the seat pad, original owner's manual, service book and a bunch of old receipts and papers.

Tyres are Dunlop SportSmarts with a 190/55 rear, I've only done one track day on them (more on that below) so there's plenty of tread left, particularly on the edges. New front brake pads last year and I've only put about 600 miles on them, new battery.

I bought the bike a couple of years ago because I've always thought they were the best looking bikes I'd ever seen and I still do. Trouble is, possibly due to the regard I hold the bike in, I'm a bit precious about it. The one track day was at Anglesey last year and I didn't enjoy it because I was worrying about dropping the bike. Stupid really, the bike is immensely capable, far more than I am.

The second reason for selling is that I cannot get comfortable on it. I'm no racing snake and I'm not a fast rider and the bike needs to be ridden properly, not like a tourer. I feel that I'm wasting it when I go out for a ride and I end up not going out, hence the lack of miles.

I've also got a set of Ti Akrapovic slip-ons (rocking horse poo to find and not made new any more), Harris exhaust brackets, a PCIII USB (new in box), R&G bungs (new in box) and Stomp grips (new in, erm ... that plastic wrap stuff) which I haven't fitted - I can't see the point of modifying the bike when I don't use what's already there. I've also got a carbon fibre hugger that I'm not sure will go on with the 190/55 tyre and an MRA light tint double bubble screen which has been on the bike but will be replaced with the standard screen.

Loads of photos in my flickr set and here's one and a second of the bike with its clothes off last time I washed it (couple of weeks ago, bike's not been out since).

Based on the prices on AutoTrader and MCN coupled with the condition and lack of miles on mine, I'm looking for £5,250 or near offer and am happy to negotiate a deal involving the extras.

Sorry to hear you're selling her......

I would love to take it off your hands, but I've already got 2 RC51s.......

Any chance you'd sell the Akrapovics seperately?

Yes but not until the bike's sold. I'm offering them as part of the deal because I think it makes the package more likely to sell. Anything the buyer doesn't want will then be put up for sale separately.

Of course, you could buy the bike and cans, then sell the bike ... ;)

If it was 12 months ago I would have snapped your hand off but I managed to find one.
Have you got the link pipes for the Akropovics, if so would you sell them to me, I will give you good money for them

I'm supposed to be saving for a house deposit, the cans I could get away with, an additional bike probably not...........

If it sells without the Akrapovics I don't need the link pipes (I've got the link pipes, but have bust one of the cans when I dropped an original exhaust on it when swapping over and I need to re-sleeve the other one as the sleeve has split where the clamp went over it)

So to that end I'd be happy to come to an arrangement whereby I got the cans and the linkpipes were sold to cheekykev :)

ETA;
http://www.hondavtrsp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=998 is looking for exhaust hangers

We're half way there with the extras :p

Cool, happy to do that if the bike buyer doesn't want the cans. Just need to get that bike buyer first :?

That seems a nice one but leaving the cans on would help your sale and the rest of the bits you could sell seperately fairly quickly.
People like the SPs for the sound as much as anything else.

Cheers guys, I'd be up for that, let me know the outcome

To be honest, and i'm not just saying this for my benefit but you'd be far better off selling all the extras seperately, you'll get a lot more for them than if you leave them on the bike, the bike will sell quite ok in it's original standard form
