The 3 fasteners underneath, that hold the left and right panels together were replaced with allen screws and well nuts. according to the fiche I found, they should be clips.
Anyone know what size hole these are from memory - I can't be ar5ed to go down the shed with a torch and tape measure in the dark...
Not paying £2 odd each from Honda either, packs on ebay for a few quid, just dunno what size?

If you're referring to the clips that secure the two side cowls along the bottom, the hole diameters on the cowls are around 6 to 6.5mm.

Ahh!
Gotta love the old internet for answers.
Can't be arsed to go down the garden to the shed....cause it's faster to get a response from a man over 2 1/2 thousand miles away

Great in it!
Now, I need a beer, who's available to open the fridge for me

LOL, GUILTY - but my garden is 100 feet long, shed is at the end, no power / light and EVERYTHING is near the door, fairing panels are safely stashed at the far end, I have to overcome not just the army of spiders, but 2 paddock stands, 2 mountain bikes, 2 tool kits, the lawnmower, exhaust boxes and god knows what else. Not a job for a dark evening as I know I would end up with scratched panels!

GREAT THANKS to Subsailor!

I will order some 6mm clips and some 7mm ones just in case.

Once again, the forum and you guys who contribute come up trumps!

 :auto-sportbike:

Not really, but I have a friend in Scotland, who talks on the internet to a guy in Italy. He might be able to help you or at least send you a link to someone who can

Got the bike apart, so the bodywork is hanging off hooks in the garage.
Super easy to whip out the ruler and measure.

Now I don't suppose anyone has installed a Moriwaki (or copy) airbox have you?
And if so, would you have the install instructions or a scanned copy thereof?

Finally got it back together, the clips I bought only worked on the front end holes underneath, they weren't really long enough for the 2 by the back wheel, so I used hex bolts and nicely greased well nuts for these 2 again.

Happy days...!
