Carbon Tanks

Anyone on here ever had or thinking about running one of these

I know Paul Hughes on the FB site has one just trying to gauge some opinion on quality/practicality etc

there is alot of mods id pick before a carbon tank
other than been lighter i cant think of any other benefits oh yes street cred goes up a notch

I have one of these tanks instead.
http://www.eti-fuelcel.com/

Very light (5 lbs/2.26 Kg in OEM fuel capacity) and guaranteed for life.
OEM steel tank weighs 12.5 lbs/5.67 Kg.

Their web site mentions it should work with the Durbahn/Turn One airbox (which I also have).
However, the dimensions on my ETI tank would not allow it to mate with the Durbahn/Turn One airbox sealing surfaces.
There should be no problem using a Moriwaki or similar copy airbox.

good find! I'm not in the market for a carbon tank but like the look of the hugger!

Thanks Steelsey to be fair guys its only a streetbike so in terms of weight saving i know it wont make much difference but it was mainly aesthetics realy...mind you theres a few jobs on her to do before then anyway ;)
