I'm about to slap in some Silkolene Pro Cool. Used it in all my bikes. Good stuff at a good price.

Oh yeah it's an easy job dude, release the lower pipe that connects to the water pump on the right hand side of the bike. Have a container beneath to catch the coolant, once it's flowing, release the filler cap and this will allow more air to enter the system and help drain it. I also removed my rads and drained them as you can't fully empty them otherwise. Once empty, reconnect the hoses and fill her up, give the pipes a squeeze to help push air through the system, put the filler cap back on and run the the engine. Check you levels and your should be good to go.

as above, i used engine ice to aid cooling but it did nothing for the money so waste of time

I'm another one for Pro Cool. No mixing, no messing, just fill it up and go

And if you wanna flush it all out at the same time, just run some fresh water through it a few times till it comes out nice and clear!

Don't leave the old coolant in an open container, it tastes sweet and will kill anything that drinks it :!:

so keep the pets away and get rid of it asap
