is there anywhere that lists the sizes of all bolts on the sp1?
Alot of the bolts on the front end are very tarnished and I would like to replace with nice new shiny stainless bolts, I have a good place to buy them but I dont know the sizes I need.

well i took them out one at a time and measured them think its the only way

No need to replace Paul, Most of the bolts are stainless. Just need to be polished back up

I was trying it this evening and it did help but they are still not great, also, the recessed part of the bolt doesn't clean up great.
What type of cloth do ye use for auto sol, I find using a late, glove good because it just soaks into most material.

I just use an old T-shirt, the drill makes it easy

I used my drill too, but don't think autosol was strong enough, I could try polishing mops and compounds next

they are the shitiest stainless ever used! the new ones i put in 4 years ago are still shiney

I assume they standard sizes, eg m6, m8 etc, so just need the lengths.

Look up any bolt and it tells you the thread size and length (not including the bolt head).They are mostly M8 (ie silencer retaining bolts) M10 (ie suspension) and a few M6 (ie the bolts holding lower radiator mount) and M12 (ie frame bolts)

Just be careful with any changes of thread pitch, there are a couple of different ones across the bike (from memory)

The only thing you would need to specify when looking for replacements, is the actual type of bolt, ie the head type/shape.

I just took one of the bolts that secures the rear brake caliper (got a new spare one) measured it and it matches the details on the website.

Pro Bolt do specific kits for SP 1 and 2 in Ali,Ti and Stainless and look a lot better....
