vibrations on the right footrest

Hi all,

I have problems with vibrations on my right footrest on my SP2.
This happens at around 3500 - 4000 rpm.
The vibrations have caused damages on muscular tissues (under the big toe) that have prevented me from running from a while... I have made radios and MRI that have shown the tissue damages and a begining of tendinitus.

I have checked the washers and all the parts that needs to be at the right and left footrest, everything is here.

Anyone has experienced this problem? any suggestions?

Thanks!

Can you not either put rubber washers between the frame and the hanger or see if you can get some pegs with a rubber cover on top? I'm not sure what models you could use but there must be something out there thats just a straight swap?

Any idea on where I can get these footrests?

Sorry mate, I've no idea what might be a straight swap. It might be a case of either looking through demon tweeks or M and P to see what models have the same part numbers of aftermarket pegs or take one of your pegs off and have a look around some bike shops, even then you might need to modify it a little?
Sorry I cant be much more help

Whenever I feel more than normal vibration duration/strength through the pegs, it's a sign to me that the gaskets need replacing between the exhaust sections, the usual culprit being the one just under the swingarm hole.

The other possible issue is that one of the nuts on the end of the rear cylinder head exhaust studs has worked loose or possibly even the stud itself has worked slightly loose from the cylinder head.Had it happen to me on the front cylinder and the nuts either weld themselves solid onto the stud if you tighten them too much, or vibrate themselves loose if you don't tighten them to exactly the right amount.

Worth checking all those areas for proper nut tightness and that the exhaust gaskets between the sections are still doing their job as they need replacing every 18 months or so on my bike.

Already did for side fairings. Nothing abnormal.
