Cheers Tonto, It's good to have it fully sorted.

Had to bring it for a test-ride, Just to make sure everything was OK ;)

Jesus that some thing else and well done getting it out with out to much hassle.

Now happy motoring in the good weather were having at the moment.

Is there no end to youre talent,not only can you sort out a dodgy axle..you take a decent photo as well :clap: ..Bike looks great in the pic mate :thumbup: :D

If you take enough pictures Tonto, One of them is bound to turn out well.

What you don't see are the 25 rejects :oops:

I'm the same with photo's, I'd rather take 30 and only come away with one good one, but when you nail that good one, it looks something special, such as yours.

Hey Dmac,

I just seen the pic.... looks like the other cause is someone has fitted the washer on the wrong side of the axle! :angry-banghead: This should be on the side with the axle nut.

You probably find the spindle had nothing to push against as it was raise above the swinging arm slider too :ugeek: :D

Glad you got it sorted, but make sure you didnt fit it the same as before as you might have the same issue :lol:

HI Al, No the washer was in the right place :thumbup:
The damage to the slider block happened when I went to loosen the nut, the axle head twisted and caused the damage shown. :cry:

Man that's some nasty sh1t! You must have been giving it some welly to do that. Locktite on the axle nut?? WTF!!! :doh:

It was fairly tight allright,
so I put the 24" breaker bar on it, then --CRACK-- uh-oho

Now I know why they are called breaker bars :lol:
