Mirrors

Unfortunately my right hand mirror has decided that if I fold it in it will flap about until I tighten it up using an allen key which is rather annoying.
The alternative I am potentially looking at is seeing if I can fit mirrors off something like an older R1 which were made to fold back easily.
Question is has anyone else had a similar issue, and how did you fix it?
